For 35 years have built exceptional pieces of furniture, you can see some of our work at artx2.com.
During this time we have set back certain lots of veneer for our personal inventory.
We are now offering these lots at the best prices on the internet, often times a fraction of what others are asking and what they are worth.
These are beautiful lots, measured generously and rolled for easy shipment.
The veneer itself came from the finest mills around the world and all are graded architectural standard, most is at least 1/28” thick.
This is an opportunity to create a bank of beautiful material at a fraction of the normal wholesale cost.
Please look for our veneers often as we have a large amount of veneer yet to inventory.
This is raw wood veneer and a natural material.
By its nature there will be color variations, some checking, splitting, broken edges, etc.
We have taken this into account in our measurements, and have given generous allowances for these.
The square footage represents what we think it would yield in our shop.
Key to our terms:
When we say the edges are parallel, they are already cut to one consistent width with sap wood removed and edges are generally very good.
Some are natural edges and will need to be dressed.
Our rating of the figure is based on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the most extreme.
Architectural grade veneer is the highest grade of veneer.
It means that the veneer has to be clear to make an 8 foot, 10 foot or12 foot panel.
We will note any obvious knots we see.
This veneer is generally 1/28” thick with some variance with different species.  The species identification is to the best of our knowledge, but if you positively identify something as a different species, please let us know.
All lots are photographed from both ends, with each photo usually representing about 30% ofthe leaf, and one long shot.
These were shot in natural light and have not been enhanced other than some exposure adjustment as needed.
Unless noted, the veneer is rolled and ready to ship via UPS.
Multiple orders will be consolidated as much as possible to reduce shipping costs.  Local pickup is fine.
