    Description

    Fantastic Wood & Sons WOODSWARE "Tsing" Aesthetic Movement Transferware Dinner Plate.
    Blue
    Plate Measures 9 7/8"
    Designs features Geishas in elaborate Kimonos, Bonsai & Chrysanthemums.
    The dappled border has cartouches with stylized Chrysanthemums & Cherry Blossoms.
    The plate looks perfect from the front.
    On the back there is one small chip, not recent.
    Stamped in blue underglaze: WOODS WARE In Urn Makers Mark, Dating the plate to around 1917-1925.
    The pattern name Tsing is also partly visible.
    Made in England
    This will be lovingly packed for safe transport.
