mastering equipment. We chose the Hammond 49% nickle core transformer for this design because of it’s sonic coloring. It exhibits wide bandwidth, common mode rejection ratio (CMRR), and distortion characteristics from 20Hz to 20kHz. This transformer is equipped with a dual copper bobbin shield to provide electrical shielding.
The 2 position toggle switch allows you to bypass the transformer and pass direct audio signal. Seen here, the 1st pre-production unit delivered subtle warming and gluing of the audio signal. As well as opening up the the sonic image and frequency spectrum. High quality die-cast magnesium enclosure. Large non-slip rubber feet. Quality 1/4″ TRS audio I/O connectors. Each stereo transformer unit is fabricated once the order is placed. Akai MPC 3000, studio equipment and wood cassette not included.
