ONE Excellent GREY Plastic Shield Boss
These bosses are designed specifically for SCA heavy combat, made of a high-density, high-durometer, injection-molded, nearly indestructible Sanoprene material. They have a slight amount of flexion that significantly absorbs shock.  These are a practical, lightweight, attractive, and consistent alternative to handmade bosses which are often less than perfect.
In appearance, they feature a grey textured surface made to resemble hammered, matt finish steel.
In form they have a nice deep pocket for safety and to fit a variety of hand sizes.  Unlike any other non-metal bosses we've heard of, these are neither assembled from chunks of plastic nor made from something else; they're specifically designed and manufactured for SCA combat, with thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours invested in design, mold costs, and prototype runs. If you haven't seen one, you haven't seen anything like it; if you've never used one, you probably haven't found the last boss you'll ever use.

Handle and stand-offs are made of a different, more rigid plastic and that is only available in black.
