Description
In-Line Paradigm 700 labeler with many options and vision systemThis is an UNUSED In-Line Packaging Systems Paradigm 700 pressure-sensitive labeler system with many options. This machine applies one label to round containers and has a vision inspection system that has the ability to reject the bottle based on the inspection. There are many other options such as the infeed/outfeed gates, top belt, aligner belts and reject station. The machine was made for a government agency that never ended up using it so it is in like-new condition and was only partially setup for production. The amount of options on the machine allows the labeler to be used for many different container shapes and in combination with the vision system it could be used for critical applications.
Machine was tested and it applies labels well as can be seen in the video. Bottles are placed on the conveyor on the infeed side and travel towards the aligner belts. After passing through the aligner belts the top belt takes over and steadies the bottles as they pass by the peel plate and the label is applied. The wiper brush presses the label on, and if necessary the pneumatic tamper could also be used to help pressdown the label. If the container is round, the next station, the label wrap station would be engaged to spin the bottle and apply pressure to press the label down. If the label is applied correctly it continues down the belt, but if there was an error in inspection it would be kicked off the belt with the reject cylinder. We succesfully made an inspection file for one of the cameras that rejected bottles based on a blank label and it worked very well as can be seen in the second video.
The machine is in excellent condition and does not have any wear of any kind. There is a second HMI screen that was added by the last owner that was intended for the user the make changes to the camera setting with the need to connect a laptop to the cameras. The second HMI is not communicating with the cameras, probably due to a simple IP error. The content of the camera settings on the HMI may prove to be too unique anyway, so connecting a laptop to make settings is a straightforward process.

The new ebay buyer protection program has inspired us to offer all of our items “as-is”.
This does not mean that you are buying a machine with deficiencies, known or unknown.
What it means is that some of our items will be tested and will include the results in the description and others will be untested but described accurately to the extent that is possible without actually powering up the machine.
In addition to this written description you will have the opportunity to view high quality photos of the item.
With these two sources of information you will have as much information as possible without being physically here to inspect the machine.
Feel assured that we will make a diligent effort to give you an accurate description of the equipment.
As a buyer you should be aware that you are buying an expensive piece of equipment at a greatly reduced price and as such you may have to deal with certain unknowns and defective components which were not known and could not be known without full scale setup and operation of the machine.
Our experience in dealing with many specialized pieces of equipment has proven this to be a rare occurrence however it is a risk inherent in buying used equipment.
The very few times we have had to deal with these issues we have been very helpful in resolving the problem.
