Jaguar X300 XJ6 XJ12 key fob battery cover

Description

This is a replacement battery cover for the often lost or broken part on the X300 remote lock key fob.  The part is printed from ABS plastic and is retained by a screw rather than the original difficult to release clip. I've included the #2 screw.  It is self tapping and requires drilling a 5/64" diameter hole thru the plastic. The part is not as smooth as the original injection molded part, but the shape is a pretty good match to the original and I think the appearance is pleasing.
In most cases the cover requires replacement because the small bridge on the key fob that retains the original cover is broken or missing.  This cover replaces the bridge and is retained by a screw.  If the bridge is still intact or just broken, it will be necessary to cut the cut it out to provide clearance for this cover.  One of the pictures shows the required configuration.
