This sale is for a Vintage RESTORED Esterbrook Green Marbled Model “J” Fountain Pen that has double jewels with a Premium 9968 Broad Nib.
The 9000 Series nibs are the "Master Point" series nibs, and are all tipped with Iridium at the Ball, or wear point. They originally cost significantly more than the 1000/2000 series nibs.
The Green Marbling on this pen is great. This pen looks like it has hardly been used.
The Esterbrook J with clip dates back to the 1940's.
I Have Installed A New Bladder With Talc In This Pen.
The cap and barrel have both been carefully cleaned and polished. Both jewels are intact and the clip is tight and the fill lever is strong. I have water tested the pen for leaks and This Pen Is Ready For Ink.
The Esterbrook series of fountain pens are among the most popular pens being collected today. Praised for their affordability these pens can be transformed by simply changing the screw-in nib.
Please keep in mind that this pen was made 60 to 70 years ago. There may be some slight imperfections on the surface of the pen.
This pen comes with a felt sleeve.
