RPPC of Some Early Big Event in Downtown Fremont, Michigan

With what appears to be a circle of band members in their white uniforms in the middle of the street, I have to assume that this photo was of some big event that was going on in Fremont, Michigan way back when.  The absence of American Flags or banners of any sort suggest that it was not of a patriotic nature, so your guess is as good (or better) than mine, as to what's going on.  There's a lot to see in this very clear postcard and just look at all that great signage!
