This is a set of a  fountain pen and a mechanical pencil that Esterbrook made in the 1950s.  First in pastel colors with a black jewel and then later in brighter colors with a white jewel.
The pen measures 4 1/4" while the pencil measures 4 1/2"
This set was given to my 86 year old friend as a graduation present when she graduated  from the Cooper School of Nursing in Camden.
I have also listed a personalized pen that she received from the Esterbrook Company, then located in Camden, as a present when she graduated from nursing school. Since they did not use ball point pens, the nurses used a fountain pen for filling out charts, etc.
I have this on a separate auction.  If you are interested in both auctions, we can always combine shipping.
