CAPE TOWN – The DA is calling for Thembi Simelane to step aside from her role as Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development.

The party’s Glynnis Breytenbach says the apparently exorbitant interest rate on the loan Simelane took raises serious concerns.
She says it is questionable that the Minister chose to engage with an entity not registered as a financial service provider.
